My heartfelt thanks to all the students who have brought me so much fulfillment and friendship throughout the 30 years that I offered my cooking classes in Paris and Provence. Those days are over now – definitively – but the pleasure of sharing and learning goes on and on as a lifetime reward.

I am happy to pass the torch and the torchon (the whisk, the timer, the wooden spoon ...) to two longtime friends, great cooks and excellent teachers, Susan Herrmann Loomis in Paris and Suzanne Kay in Provence.
